Professor in Media Management

Karlshochschule International University Karlsruhe is a young and innovative university with approx. 600 students and 15 full-time professors offering programs with a strong focus on management combined with cultural studies. For the winter semester 2012/13 Karlshochschule International University invites applications for

a Professor (W2) in Media Management,
Consumer Culture and New Media.

The university attaches importance to the integrative and constructivist instruction of different sub-disciplines by using case studies and project work, for example.

Successful candidates will integrate their own research into their instruction. A qualitative-interdisciplinary research approach is essential and teaching courses in the English language is required in our Bachelor’s programs and new Master’s programs starting in 2013.

We welcome applications from candidates with an international background and/or management experience in a company or a non-profit organization.

The position includes academic administrative responsibilities as well as mentoring and advising students and student applicants. The general employment requirements comply with § 47 LHG Baden-Württemberg.
